Well I guess this will be my first post. I have never had a blog, so bear with me while I figure this all out. :) I have been packing for my big trip to Alaska and for some reason am having trouble narrowing down what I deem is "absolutely necessary" to have in Alaska. I have discovered the incredible space bags which is helping a little, but I'm slowly realizing how little 2 suitcases and 2 carry-ons really are! Thank goodness I have my mom to help me see the differences between want and need.
I am flying out of Minneapolis on Friday, and the days just seems to be flying by. I am more excited and nervous as the time I have left here in good old Redfield, SD ticks away and the closer I am to moving to Alaska!
Please feel free to comment or ask questions (I think I have that capability on here). I'll be trying to post at least once a day. But for those of you who know me, that will probably vary a lot! :)
Be careful of the space bags! We used those on our first trip to Colombia and they worked great but we were way over weight on our bags because we could pack so much in! Have a great, great time! Can't wait to hear all about your adventures!
